What Is Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)?
Adobe Experience Platform, often shortened to AEP, is theinfrastructure layer beneath Adobe's customer experience tools. It pulls datafrom a company's website, apps, CRM, and other systems into one place, thenbuilds a unified profile of each customer that other tools, like CustomerJourney Analytics and Adobe Target, can draw from.
Before platforms like this existed, customer data tended to live in silos. Marketing had its own view, analytics had another, and support had a third, with little connective tissue between them. AEP's role is to remove those seams. Once data lands in the platform, it becomes available everywhere at once, which is what makes real-time personalization and cross-channel analysis possible in the first place.
For a team already invested in the Adobe ecosystem, AEP tends to be the piece that turns a set of individually useful tools into a genuinely unified system. The Web SDK feeds it, Customer Journey Analytics reports from it, and Adobe Tags helps govern what reaches it. Each piece is more valuable and works better because it’s connected to all of the others.
Moonbird's practitioners have spent years inside this exactplatform, including at companies whose tools Adobe later folded into it. Thatdepth is what lets us help teams move from a fragmented data setup to aproperly unified one, without treating the migration as a leap of faith.
